2021 RallyCross Season Wraps Up & 2022 Season Opener Date
We have a few updates for our Detroit Region SCCA RallyCross faithful.
First, we are disappointed to announce that there will not be a season ender event for 2021. We were unfortunately unable to secure a suitable site for the event and as such, the Ocotberfast RallyCross that was held at I-96 Speedway will be our final event for the season.
However, there is some good news! We are happy to announce that we have once again been welcomed back to Crystal Motor Speedway in Crystal, MI for our 2022 Season Opener RallyCross. Our 2022 Season Opener is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 15. We do have the option to push the event date back if conditions are not suitable for us to run (AKA, ground not frozen yet).
Registration for the season opener will be posted within the coming weeks. We will also be updating season points ASAP to determine who our class champions are for our 2021 season series.
