Twilight Tour TSD Rally Just Over 3 Weeks Away!
Spring has sprung, and the Detroit Region’s RoadRally program is off to a roaring start! Saturday April 17 will see the running of the Region’s second of eight scheduled rallies for the 2021 season, Twilight Tour.Registration is open – click here to head over to MotorsportReg for additional event specifics and to register. Fourteen teams have already signed up, so this is shaping up to be a great rally. C’mon out and join the gang in spending the day (and part of the night!) roaming around on tasty south central Michigan back roads!
Twilight Tour is a late afternoon through evening SCCA RoadRally event. Starting and ending in South Lyon, the rally will traverse some 150 miles of south central Michigan back roads in Washtenaw and surrounding counties. This is always a popular rally, and rallymaster Ken Wiedbusch puts in lots of effort to ensure that it’s appealing to novices and experienced folks both. It is a straightforward time-speed-distance (TSD) competition with no complex instructions, traps or other unfunny stuff. It’s a great reason to come out and enjoy spending the day traveling some fun and scenic roads!
