Registration Open for Great Lakes RallyCross Championship Round 1

Registration is now open for Round 1 of the Great Lakes Division RallyCross Championship at I96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, MI.

This event will be the first points event for the 2018 Great Lakes Division RallyCross Championship.

$85.00 entry fee for both days or $50.00 for individual days. SCCA membership is required but weekend memberships can be purchased for $15 (applicable to your full membership if you join).

All vehicles must pass tech inspection. All drivers must wear approved helmets and seatbelts. Loaner helmets will be available but please return them when not in use.

All drivers, passenger, crew and spectators must sign a waiver. All passengers must have a completed weekend membership form on file to ride along if they are not already an SCCA member.

GLDiv Championship Series points are based on cumulative scoring for the entire 2-day event.  Detroit Region season points will be given out based on the Detroit Region scoring rules and the two days will be scored separately for season points. Detroit Region trophies will be handed out both days. See the press release link for supplemental rules applying to all rounds of the GLDiv Championship Series.

Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather. You will be outside for the entire day.

Event Schedule:

Saturday July 28th

10:00 am – Course setup begins.

10:30 am – Tech and onsite registration opens.

12:00 noon – 1:00 pm – Test and Tune session. $5 per run or 5 runs for $20 paid in cash at the event.  All cars must pass tech. If a driver is not registered for the event and wishes to participate in the TnT ONLY, there is a $15 fee to cover insurance and sanction fees. All TnT drivers must be an SCCA member or purchase a weekend membership for $15.

1:00 pm – Tech and registration close.

– Course open for walking.

– Novice orientation. Required for drivers who have never competed in a rallycross event.  An optional track walk with an experienced driver will follow.

1:30 pm – MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING

Run order and work assignments will be announced at the end of the driver’s meeting. When you are not running, you are required to be at your worker station.  If you do not work your assignment, you will be disqualified. There will be 4 runs (or more depending on time and conditions) per entrant in each of two sessions with all runs counting.

2:00pm – Start of first run session.

5:00pm – Start of second run session

8:30pm – Dinner provided to all participants courtesy of TnT proceeds. So please participate in the TnT !

– Detroit Region trophy presentation.

Free camping is allowed onsite Saturday night.

Sunday, July 29th

8:00am – Tech and onsite registration opens for cars/drivers that did not participate on Saturday

8:00am – Course open for walking

9:00am  – Tech and onsite registration close

9:00 am – MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING

Run order and work assignments will be announced at the end of the driver’s meeting. When you are not running, you are required to be at your worker station.  If you do not work your assignment, you will be disqualified. There will be 6 runs (or more depending on time and conditions) per entrant with all runs counting.

9:30am – Start of run session.

12:30pm – Teardown and pick-up. It is highly encouraged that all participants lend a hand in packing up equipment as the staff putting on the event are all volunteers!

1:00pm – Detroit Region trophy presentation. GLDiv championship points for regions and individuals announced.
