Registration is open for the 2020 running of the Press On Regardless© road rally!
Come join us in Gaylord MI on Saturday, September 12 for the 72nd edition of the U.S.’s oldest continuously run rally! First run by the Detroit Region in 1949, POR has a history like no other rally. POR counts towards the SCCA National RoadRally championship, as well as towards the Great Lakes Division and Detroit Region RoadRally championships.
This year’s running will feature use of the Richta virtual controls technology for timing and scoring. This will, among other things, eliminate the handling of time cards and contact with control crews, helping to ensure that competitors stay safe from COVID-19 in this pandemic time. In addition, rallymaster Bruce Fisher has worked hard to implement other measures to reduce this risk, including online only registration (no in person registration at event); no gatherings, with only electronic communications; sealed routes and instructions insuring only competitors touch them. Don’t let the pandemic keep you from running this historic, challenging and fun TSD road rally!
POR will run on a variety of challenging and entertaining roads through the woods of northern Michigan – sure to be a hoot for drivers and navigators alike. While the current POR is deliberately conducted to not be a car breaker, it is nonetheless recommended that vehicles with low ground clearances not be utilized.

Make sure you mention “POR” when making your reservation to get the discounted rate. The reserved block of rooms at this rate will be available until August 28.
