Pictures: 2017 Detroit Grand Prix, Saturday
These are the pictures I took around the island on Saturday, focusing primarily on the activities of the volunteers who worked corners and other support roles for the 2017 Detroit Grand Prix.
I arrived on site “late,” and by late, I mean 7am. After photographing some of the folks on the inside of the track, I hopped on one of the equipment trucks and headed out to Corner 4, whereupon I spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around the perimeter of the track. I’m happy to report that the day went smoothly for the event and all of the corner workers.
