Detroit SCCA TSD Rally School

Want to learn the ins & outs of road rally? Come to Detroit Region SCCA‘s annual TSD Rally School!

A road rally is traversed over public roads within the legal speed limit. The challenge is to drive on time, arriving at points along the route neither early nor late (it’s NOT a race). A driver and navigator team matches wits with the rallymaster to follow the route and stay on time. This school will teach you the basics of how to compete in a time-speed-distance (TSD) road rally. A couple of short practice rallies help you master the instructor presented material.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to ensure a place.

The tentative class schedule is:

9:00 AM – Route instructions and route following
10:00 AM – Control (checkpoint) procedures

11:30 AM – Rally 1 review and lunch
