The Twilight Tour TSD road rally hosted by Detroit Region SCCA, managed by Chandra Koganti (Rallymaster) and Trevor Council (Chairman), concluded successfully on May 3, 2025, in Chelsea, Michigan. The rally encompassed 180 miles across multiple counties, with over 80% traversing unpaved roads. We were delighted to see 35% women’s participation, including an all-women Novice team, Anne Gidley and Kanysa Garvin, who graduated from the 2025 DRSCCA Rally School. They came a close second in Novice class bested by 9.7 points by Blake Mahnken and Kyle Garvin (also 2025 Rally School graduates). These two Novice teams secured impressive 5th and 4th places overall.
In the Equipped class, Robert Kay and Michael Bennett achieved first place, providing a strong challenge for the overall lead, which was ultimately won by the GPS team of Adam Spieszny and Piotr Roszczenko by a margin of 17.4 points, covering 73 scoring control points. Renne Fisher and Bruce Fisher won the Limited class; Bruce was pleased to transition from Rallymaster last year to competitor this year. The Stock class witnessed close competition before Charlie Dawson and Henry Tuit Farquhar secured victory by 7.8 points.
