2025 Autumn SIM Racing Season
The Detroit Region SCCA is hosting its 9th SIM Racing League, hosted on iRacing. All participants AND spectators are welcome, but only SCCA Members are eligible for a Championship trophy.
Don’t have a SIM, but you have the itch to try it? No problem! Visit our partner superlap.world in Berkley on Woodward to “try before you buy!” They are offering DRSCCA members a discount on SIM time. Show your membership card or mention the series to receive 20% off Open Track or Practice Race.
The schedule for race days will be:
- Practice: 7-8 PM
- Qualifying: 8-8:20 PM
- Warm up laps and sponsor interviews: 8:20-8:30 PM
- Race: 8:30-9:00 PM
There will be six Championships trophies awarded, three for each car. There will be two drop weeks.

Registration – You must register in Discord. Your iRacing invite will come afterward. On the day before a race, please allow at least two hours to receive your invite after registering.
Points Standings and Rulebook – Points standings will follow the traditional SCCA points system. Standard iRacing rules apply and SCCA rules are applied when applicable. Minors may be present so we ask that you mind your language.
SPECTATING – Not ready to get into SIM racing yet? You can spectate the races via YouTube! Broadcasting starts at the posted qualifying times.
In order to participate in the DRSCCA SIM Racing Series, please follow the following steps:

- Join the Discord server using this link: https://discord.gg/wBFKahSDRV. See how to Discord guide below for details.
- An invite to join the iRacing league will be sent to you via the iRacing UI. Be sure to accept it!
- Once it is accepted, you’re all set!
Don’t have a SIM or know how to set one up?…Don’t worry it’s not that difficult and it doesn’t have to break the bank. During the meet & greet we will be coordinating and subsequent session to help those who are in technical help and product purchase guidance.
