Saturday was a perfect day (although a wee bit dusty) for the Twilight Tour TSD rally. As usual rallymaster Ken Wiedbusch put on an entertaining and challenging event for the 21 competing teams, engaging for both experienced and newbie rallyists.
There was a tight 4 way battle for equipped class and the overall win, with just 3 points separating the four top finishing teams (there was a tie for 3rd at 15 points). In the end David Sellers and Janis Ford (pictured above), who drove up from Columbus OH to do battle, pulled off the win with just 12 points for 15 scored controls, an average of just 1/2 second off per control! Well done David and Janis!
Limited class saw veterans Bruce Fisher and Tom Woodside take the class victory. New driver Karen Usher, with hubby and stock class navigator extraordinaire Aaron Usher, pulled off the stock class win with just 78 points.
Twilight Tour had 12 novice teams competing, with 4 of those teams graduates from the recent rally school. Jasman Malik and Peter Attema took novice class honors with a very respectable score of 502.
