Last Saturday, July 21, was an excellent day of rallying. There was just a smattering of rain now and again, which served to hold the dust down without making the roads sloppy. Rally organizers Dennis and Ken Wiedbusch put together a great route, covering 160 miles over regularly used roads in Washtenaw, Jackson and Livingston counties in new combinations, plus including additional roads not regularly seen on Detroit rallies.
The four equipped class competitors finished separated by only 5 points, with the team David Stone and Rob Moran taking the honors with just 9 points over 15 controls. Limited class was taken by Steve Riddell and son Sean in Steve's lovely Triumph TR6. Stock class saw Ryan Vindua and Tristan Koivisto take the win over 5 other competitors.

As always, thanks to rally organizers Dennis and Ken Wiedbusch, plus all of the volunteers who came out to work controls. We wouldn't be able to have these fun romps through the countryside with them!
