Auto Darkening Welding Helmet

Post by GT4CE »

I'm about to do a mile of welding and my old Harbor Freight welding helmet has been good enough, for the small amount of welding I do but I'm hesitant to use it on the hours of welding I have coming up. I know many will have more experience at this than I do and I'm looking for good inexpensive recommendations for a new helmet. The best recommendation, even from harbor freight will be picked up the end of this month to begin welding in February to get the car done before the season starts.

Thanks,

I think I purchased my from Baker's in Monroe. I have an autodark helmet with adjustable filter and adjustable reaction time. Here are some guidelines.
